Back Support Engineer – IT Support, Nashua, New Hampshire – Perm 75000 Sep 9, 2026 – $75000.00 – $75000.00.

Alexander Technology Group is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a software client in Nashua. The Technical Support Engineer will work on a small team diagnosing and resolving complex issues working with internal teams to support customers. This is a permanent position and our client offers lots of remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint, Azure, and web-based applications
Serve as a member of the Product Support team who is the primary point of contact for customer-reported issues, owning cases from initial report through resolution
Analyze application behavior using logs, browser developer tools, and debugging techniques
Diagnose and resolve issues related to APIs, integrations, and authentication (OAuth, tokens, etc.)
Document issues, root causes, and resolutions in internal and customer-facing knowledge bases
Collaborate with engineering teams to elevate bugs, provide reproduction steps, and validate fixes
Manage and prioritize multiple support requests effectively using Zendesk
Participate in on-call rotation and assist with incident response as needed

Required Qualifications

Experience supporting SharePoint and Microsoft Azure environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues
Working knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS
Experience using browser developer tools for debugging
Understanding of authentication and identity concepts (Azure AD / Entra , OAuth)
Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Graph API
Familiarity with Power Shell scripting
Experience supporting SaaS-based applications
Basic knowledge of Azure App Insights Querying
Experience working in a cloud-based, distributed environment
Familiarity with REST APIs and tools such as Postman or Graph Explorer

Location and Employment Details

Onsite requirements from time to time. Only candidates currently residing in New Hampshire or Massachusetts that do not require sponsorship will be considered at this time.

Salary Range: $65-75k
