Nextmove Technologies is a rapidly growing designer and manufacturer of antenna positioners and controllers located in Hollis, NH. Since 2008 we’ve been developing and selling innovative auto antenna alignment solutions which meet and exceed the goals of our customers in emergency management, DoD, oil & gas, news gathering and wireless communication markets.

We are seeking to hire a full-time Assembly Technician to join our growing team. We’re looking for a hard-working individual to work with our Production team in the assembly of our products. Under the direction of our Production Supervisor, this person will be responsible for assembly of products, including testing, to ensure all products meet our highest standards of finished production quality.

Additionally, the Assembly Technician will be responsible for daily shipping and receiving, occasional building maintenance tasks and cross-training in our machine shop, working with 3-Axis and 5-Axis CNC machines to include loading and operating.

We are looking for someone with the ability to work in a versatile environment and switch gears quickly depending on the demands of the business to meet our customers’ needs. Our customers’ satisfaction is paramount and producing the highest quality and functioning product begins with the Assembly Technician. We are seeking a candidate with a mechanical aptitude and a strong desire and willingness to learn on the job.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical sub and whole product assembly process
according to work orders

• Test parts and products to ensure working properly

• Troubleshoot and identify repair work needed

• Receive and check in parts from vendors ensuring count and accuracy of orders

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate assembly functions

• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality

• Cross-train in machine shop

• Other duties as assigned

Who We Are Looking For

Requirements

• Willingness to learn our products and processes; some previous assembly or related
industry experience is a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical college education is a plus

• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and work orders is a plus

• Strong mechanical aptitude; electromechanical background is a plus

• Keen attention to detail

• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment for assembly and testing, including, torque
wrenches, soldering iron, digital multi-meter, and other lab tools

• Must have manual dexterity and good eye/hand coordination

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions and decimals

• Advanced fastener and thread repairing skills. Comfortable with removing broken
screws and re-tapping threaded holes or installinghelicoils

• Ability to torque fasteners up to 150 ft-lbs using standard ratcheting style torque
wrenches

• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally to lift up to 75
pounds unassisted

• Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time performing repetitive tasks

• Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) & Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides,
Docs and Calendar)

• Experience with Cam Works (preferred)

• Must pass a criminal record check and drug screen

• Reliable transportation to our location in Hollis, NH

• Ability to work overtime as needed beyond the normal Monday-Friday 40-hour work
week
