Manufacturing Press Operator, 1st shift

Crane Currency is hiring experienced Manufacturing Machine Operators (Press Operators, Production Operators, and Machine/Maintenance Technicians) to join our Operations team in Nashua, NH on 1st shift.

If you have experience operating manufacturing equipment, production machinery, printing presses, converting equipment, CNC machines, extrusion equipment, or other industrial machinery, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a stable global manufacturer.

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, presses, and production machinery
• Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and optimize machine performance
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to meet strict quality requirements
• Identify defects, resolve production issues, and document manufacturing data
• Utilize test equipment, inspection systems, and quality tools
• Follow detailed safety procedures and standardized work instructions
• Cross-train across multiple machines and manufacturing processes
• Support continuous improvement, production efficiency, and operational excellence

• Base pay starting at $25 - $29/hour (based on experience)
• Shift schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Work that supports U.S. and global currency security
• Training on advanced equipment which provides paths to certifications, pay increases and promotions.
• Long-term stability with a company operating since the early 1800s

Important note: This role starts through a trusted agency partner while Public Trust clearance is completed. After clearance, training, and meeting performance expectations, you’ll be considered for permanent employment with Crane Currency.

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Manufacturing Operator, Production Operator, Press Operator, Printing Press Operator, Equipment Operator, Manufacturing Technician, Production Technician, CNC Operator, Converting Operator, Extrusion Operator, Slitter Operator, or similar technical manufacturing role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience operating, monitoring, adjusting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Comfortable working with computer-based production and inspection systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• U.S. Citizen able to meet Public Trust requirements
