Production Lead

Job Description:

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a 2nd shift Production Lead in Nashua, NH! This job is considered to be a hands-on leadership position in which an individual is expected to provide assistance to the Production Supervisor and perform as a highly skilled laser operator. The individual will work as a part of a defined workstation team, coordinating work activities, maintaining compliance to procedures, performing quality control checks, acting as a technical lead for first-level problems, moving product into and out of the work area, assisting with training and assuming a role as a laser operator.

Nashua, New Hampshire

• Accurately prepare documents, production sheets, reports, and other required paperwork for contracting customers.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and share relevant information with workstation team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at their highest level and assign tasks based on individual skills and capabilities.
• Communicate issues proactively to minimize downtime whenever possible.
• Demonstrate job duties and monitor employee performance to ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations.
• Encourage team members to stay on task and consistently meet quality and productivity goals.
• Communicate objectives, expectations, and results to team members on a regular basis.
• Ensure workers have the materials and supplies necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify production counts, maintain daily production records, and accurately transfer data to customer databases or profiles.
• Ensure all daily reports are completed on time and contain accurate information.
• Coordinate and ensure the proper preparation and shipment of finished goods to contracting customers.
• Keep supervisors informed of contract performance issues, delays, or concerns that could impact on-time completion.
• Communicate employee performance related to quality and productivity to support recognition and performance evaluations.

• 3 years of previous experience in production.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
