Full Time Nashua, NH, US

Salary Range: $27.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Role summary

Pure Process Technology (PPT) designs and manufactures high-purity water systems and Solvent Purification Systems (SPS) for biotech, life science, and research labs. The Production Assembly Technician II owns the complete mechanical assembly and wiring for assigned PPT projects. This role is the development path toward Production Assembly Technician Sr.

Core responsibilities

  • Complete mechanical skid assembly to PPT standards, drawings, travelers, and checklists.
  • Perform skid wiring, routing, labeling, and connection work using approved documentation and quality checks.
  • Fabricate and install PVC, PPL, tubing, valves, fittings, and components with attention to cleanliness and layout.
  • Prepare systems for test-ready handoff by verifying assembly completeness, labeling, and documentation.
  • Support shop organization, shipment preparation, and production schedule needs as assigned.

Development path from Production Assembly Technician I

  • Builds on Tech I skills: RO/DI assembly support, PVC/PPL fabrication, shipment prep, and field support basics.
  • Develops ownership of complete skid assembly, skid wiring, quality checks, and test-ready handoff.
  • Prepares for Production Assembly Technician Sr by strengthening startup support, troubleshooting, and project coordination habits.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on mechanical assembly experience with strong tool use, measurement, and fabrication habits.
  • Ability to read and follow drawings, travelers, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and checklists.
  • Comfortable with skid wiring, labeling, tubing/piping layout, and quality-focused build practices.
  • Safety-first mindset, reliable attendance, strong attention to detail, and willingness to ask questions early.
  • Valid driver's license preferred; able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in shop, lab, and industrial environments.
