About

the Job

Clinical Assistants (LNAs) are a combination of Health Unit Coordinators and Licensed Nursing Assistants. As a member of the Patient Care Services team, Clinical Assistants support in patient care and coordinate administrative functions of assigned patient care areas and facilitate patient flow throughout the departments.

  • 3 East
    is a 30-bed adult med/surg unit serving patients with orthopedic, neurosurgical, general medicine, and general surgical needs.
  • 3 West
    is a 22-bed adult med/surg unit caring for patients with general medicine, vascular, GI, bariatric, urology, women’s health, oncology (including chemotherapy administration), and palliative care needs.
  • 4 East
    is a 31-bed adult med/surg telemetry unit serving patients with cardiac conditions, post-cardiac catheterization recovery, stroke, pulmonary embolism, diabetic and endocrine disorders, neurological conditions, and renal disorders.
  • 4 West
    is a 22-bed adult med/surg telemetry unit caring for patients with stroke, sepsis, diabetes, wound care needs, renal failure (including continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis), and COPD.
What You’ll Do
  • ADL’s and patient care assistance
  • Maintain a safe patient care environment
  • Prepare and maintain patient records with appropriate data elements
  • Collect and document basic patient care information as delegated
Who You Are
  • Completed LNA program & active licensure in the state of NH
  • Basic medical terminology.
  • Previous EMR experience a plus.
