Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery Night Shift position in Nashua, NH, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience including OR circulating.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting

• Cares for pregnant and laboring women, newborns, children, and families across the continuum of care

• Night shift hours: 7p–7a

• 3 or 4 shifts per week available, all 12-hour shifts

• Every 3rd weekend required at minimum

• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or compact license currently in hand

• Current BLS certification required

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required

• Must have labor experience including circulating in the OR

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

• Ability to demonstrate patient-centered behaviors and maintain a high level of accuracy

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with AWHONN Standards for Professional Nursing Practice in the Care of Women and Newborns, 7th Edition

• Collaborates with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesia, and the broader healthcare team to ensure effective patient care delivery

• Defined workweek runs from Sunday at 12:01am through Saturday at 11:59pm
