A healthcare role is available for a Registered Nurse to serve as a Clinical Coordinator in a dynamic medical office setting. This position involves coordinating clinical staff activities to improve patient care flow and ensuring adequate clinical support coverage during office hours. The RN independently provides professional nursing care within established guidelines, engaging in direct patient care, triaging patient calls, managing prescription refills, and supporting overall patient care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop tailored patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical documentation and promptly communicate changes or concerns.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following hospital policies and protocols.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive health measures.
- Provide emotional support and advocate for patients' rights and respectful care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe and ethical practice environment.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the clinical team.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience in clinical nursing, office nursing, or related roles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to independently coordinate clinical activities and manage patient care processes.
- Proficiency in nursing assessments and medication administration.
