Position: Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department, Nashua, NH. This travel assignment begins 07/06/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $683 to $713, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour evenings. Working in an emergency department within an acute care setting, you will join a patient care team delivering direct and indirect nursing care under physician direction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct admission assessments, obtaining past medical history, current condition, vital signs, and reviewing labs, X-rays, and other diagnostics.
  • Participate in planning and implementing a written care plan under physician supervision.
  • Administer medications with attention to safety: ensure appropriate visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Monitor patient status, document findings, interpret data, and respond to changes in condition; maintain clear communication with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide patient and family education, ensure cultural sensitivity, and uphold confidentiality and privacy standards.
  • Support a safe care environment by adhering to infection prevention practices and hospital protocol, and contribute to an appropriate patient safety culture.
Requirements
  • Licensure:
    Active New Hampshire RN license required or eligible to obtain NH RN license
  • Certifications:

    BLS certification required; ACLS certification required
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Experience:

    Clinical experience preferred

    Specialty/Setting:
    Ability to work effectively in an emergency department environment and perform essential nursing functions
Education and Certifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred; equivalent nursing education as allowed by NH licensure
  • Licensure:
    Current NH Registered Nurse license or eligibility to obtain
  • Certifications:

    BLS certification required; ACLS certification required
  • Professional development:
    Membership in a professional nursing organization and specialty certification are preferred per role expectations
