The Opportunity

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team as a Lead Provider. You will provide exceptional care and make a real impact on patients within our urgent‑care clinic. Lead Providers act as clinical leaders for all staff, mentoring new‑grad providers and allied professionals.

Your Impact
  • Provide Patient‑Centered Care
    • Conduct health assessments and physical exams; review medical histories to address short‑ and long‑term patient needs.
    • Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., X‑rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory studies) and interpret results.
    • Administer injections, immunizations, sutures, and manage wounds and infections.
    • Educate patients on health, therapeutic regimens, growth, family planning, and wellness.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Create clear, complete, accurate, and legible medical records and electronically sign all office notes using EMR.
    • Maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with company and state procedures.
    • Adhere to infection‑control policies and protocols.
    • Stay current with legal and professional requirements, and advise management on necessary actions.
  • Collaborate with a Team – Work collaboratively and proactively with other providers and health‑care practitioners to treat patients efficiently and plan coordinated dispositions in a timely manner.
  • Act as a clinic leader, especially when the Practice Manager is not in‑clinic, and provide mentorship to new‑grad and other clinic staff.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Serve as a preceptor to new provider staff, offering educational opportunities and experiential growth.
Who You Are
  • Education, Licensure & Certifications
    • Master’s degree and certification by a PA certifying body.
    • DEA license with no restrictions.
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); CPR, ACLS, or online‑only classes are not accepted.
  • Relevant Experience – Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care; preferred.
  • Strong Leadership – Willing and able to mentor provider and non‑provider clinic staff.
  • Team Player – Enjoys collaboration and contributing to a strong dynamic.
  • Communicator – Proactive, confident, and direct in written and verbal communication.
  • Compassionate & Patient‑Focused – Supports patients with kindness and fosters belonging.
  • Technically Savvy – Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
  • Knowledge
    • Customer service principles and quality standards.
    • Applicable federal, state, and local laws, including HIPAA, OSHA, and relevant medical practice regulations.
    • Drugs, chemical composition, and therapeutic uses.
    • Non‑pharmaceutical patient‑care aids and relevant uses.
    • Current medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment procedures.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
  • Collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Urgent‑care services at no cost to team members and families.
  • Extensive benefits: health, dental, vision, short‑term disability, optional pet insurance.
  • 401(k) match after one year of service.
  • Access to primary care (dependent on location).
