Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Must possess valid State RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• 3 years previous nursing experience preferred
• ICU experience required
• CRRT experience required
• Balloon Pump experience required
• Medical terminology required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain medical history and current status.
• Plan and implement care plans under the direction of a physician.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
• Availability required for holidays and every other weekend.
• Floating to Progressive Care if needed.
