Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must possess valid State RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- 3 years previous nursing experience preferred
- ICU experience required
- CRRT experience required
- Balloon Pump experience required
- Medical terminology required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.
- Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain medical history and current status.
- Plan and implement care plans under the direction of a physician.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
Compliance / Notes:
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- Availability required for holidays and every other weekend.
- Floating to Progressive Care if needed.
