The center also offers pre-surgical testing, post-operative care, and education to ensure a smooth transition back to normal activities.
The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. As an RN at the surgery center, you would be responsible for providing patient care during surgical procedures and post-operative recovery. You will assess patient condition before and after surgeries, administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs. Additionally, you would provide educational resources to patients about pre-surgical testing and post-operative care.
You will also work closely with the surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure that patient safety is upheld at all times. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong commitment to providing quality patient care.
- Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs before, during, and after surgeries
- Administer medications and perform wound care as necessary
- Provide educational resources to patients about pre-surgical testing and post-operative care
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety is maintained at all times.
- Operating Room experience is strongly preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
- New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
