Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Surgery

37707 AMC Grafton – Day Surgery Center, Grafton, WI, United States.

Full‑time (0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week) day‑surgery nursing position.

Provide comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative nursing care in a high‑volume day‑surgery setting. Coordinate patient care, use evidence‑based practice, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment throughout the surgical continuum. This role requires knowledge and experience in day‑surgery, surgical, or procedural nursing.

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care before and after surgical procedures following the nursing process and institutional policies.
• Apply evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making skills to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote the safest patient environment and best patient experience.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the RN practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification by hire or within 6 months.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification by hire or within 6 months.
• Experience in day‑surgery, surgical, or procedural nursing is highly preferred.

• 0.8 FTE – 8‑hour shifts.
• Monday through Friday, scheduling between 0500‑1930 with rotating start times.
• No weekends, no holidays, no call.

$38.20 – $57.30 per hour.

• Base pay within the listed range, based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
