Emergency Department RN - Mid Shift

Job Summary

Local Candidates Accepted - Will Receive A $10/hr Lower Local Rate.

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team who is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays and other diagnostic tests.

They will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree preferred. Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• License:
  Current New Hampshire RN license required or eligible to obtain. Must be able to perform essential job functions and meet qualifications listed below.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required. ACLS required. General Certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS/BCLS). Nursing Certifications (CPI).
• Experience:
  
  Clinical experience preferred.
• Professional
  
  Activities:
  
  Membership in a professional nursing organization;
  Certification in specialty preferred.

• Assessment:
  Able to perform standard assessments using basic equipment (visual acuity, hand‑eye coordination). ICU? Not specified.
• Medication Administration.
• Communication and Documentation:
  Maintains confidentiality; able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Patient Safety:
  Able to meet standards of job analysis form.
• Interpersonal:
  Interacts positively with team members and patients, respects patient culture, lifestyle, religion and age, accepts constructive criticism and channels emotional reaction positively.
