JOB SUMMARY

Local candidates accepted; receive an additional $10/hr lower local rate.

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will assess patients upon admission, obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x‑rays and other diagnostic tests, and participate in planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a physician.

• Assessment:
  • Perform standard assessments using basic equipment.
• Medication Administration:
  • Visual acuity.
  • Hand‑eye coordination.
• Communication / Documentation:
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing.
• Patient Safety:
  • Meet standards of the job analysis form.
• Interpersonal:
  • Interact positively with team members and patients.
  • Respect patient culture, lifestyle, religion, and age in care planning and implementation.
  • Accept constructive criticism and channel emotional reactions positively.

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current New Hampshire license required or eligible to obtain.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Professional activities: membership in a professional nursing organization.
• Certification in specialty preferred.
