• Provide comprehensive nursing care on a geropsychiatric unit, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of symptoms and changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories; perform mental and physical assessments
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and observe responses to interventions
• Lead and participate in therapeutic milieu activities, daily groups, education, and 1:1 sessions; collaborate with the treatment team
• Develop individualized treatment plans upon admission and update them with the multidisciplinary team; coordinate discharge planning
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care activities; complete required documentation (admissions, assessments, progress notes) in a timely manner
• Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and regulatory requirements

• License:
  Valid State of New Hampshire RN license
• Certification: BLS certification required
• Education:
  
  2-year associate degree or diploma from a nursing program required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience:
  
  1 year nursing experience preferred
• Certifications/
  
  Skills:
  
  Medical terminology knowledge; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work in a geropsychiatric/mental health inpatient setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
