Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Per Diem Contractual Rate

Certified in Basic Life Support, CPR, and AED (automated external defibrillator). Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Prior experience with pediatric, adolescent, or urgent/emergency care preferred. Knowledge of student or patient database information systems as well as Microsoft Office systems. Must provide New Hampshire LPN certification.

• Contact parents to advise them of child's illness, if required; notify the school office concerning children released from school because of illness.
• Inquire into unexplained pupil absence under the direction of the Principal.
• Check the immunization records of all students to ensure compliance with R.S.A. 200:38; notify parents of deficiencies and inform the Principal of non‑compliance.
• Assist in maintaining health, clinic, and examination records and files; keep a daily log of activities; maintain supply inventory in compliance with district and state nursing regulations, policies and procedures.
