Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 15 beds
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 1-2 LNA support
Type of equipment:
Client Monitors, Hamilton Bipap and Hiflo, Baxter IV Pumps, Hemospheres
Documentation system:
Meditech Expanse
Scheduling requirements: 12 shifts month (3 shifts a week). 4 weekend shifts Month. Department leadership completes the schedule around the RTO
Floating policy:
Floating will be on a rotation basis with Travelers floating first
Patient Experience requirements:
MyCare board are updated each shift during bedside shift report. Bedside shift report is completed at each change of shift

o Comprehensive Stroke Center
o Level 2 Trauma Center
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have:
Strong telemetry skills
Experience titrating vasoactive medication such as levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, dobutamine
Chest Tube
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Flo-Tracs
Temporary Pacing
Procedures performed on unit:
Temporary Pacing
Pre-op prep for cardiovascular surgery
Chest-tube removal, arterial line removal
