Your responsibilities include:
* Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections throughout the production process
* Inspect products during cupping, body making, trimming, washing, printing, coating, necking, flanging, and final production
* Conduct quality tests for defects including dents, cracks, buckle resistance, coating integrity, and axial load
* Verify print quality, color consistency, labeling, and overall product appearance
* Monitor production equipment and process settings to ensure quality standards are maintained
* Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation
* Investigate quality concerns and assist in identifying root causes of defects
* Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues quickly
* Support food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED
* At least 1 year of quality control experience in manufacturing
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team###

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in metal packaging, beverage can manufacturing, or food packaging
* Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
* Experience with quality documentation and inspection records
* Understanding of FDA, BRC, ISO, or other manufacturing quality standards
* Six Sigma or other quality certifications

Schedule

Night Shift7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Additional overtime may be available based on production needs.
