Supplier Quality Engineer

Overview

The Supplier Quality Engineer II impacts customer satisfaction and continual improvement through monitoring, managing and resolving issues related to supplier quality performance by developing supplier relationships, auditing supplier capabilities, capacities, products, processes and procedures, handling the disposition of supplier rejections, and coordinating supplier corrective actions.

Own and drive supplier quality performance by monitoring issues, coordinating corrective actions, and ensuring effective supplier relationships and communication to support product quality and customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical or equivalent technical degree)
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management methodologies such as:
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Control Plans
• ISO 13485/ISO-9001/AS-9100
• Quality Management Systems

• ASQ-CQE, CQA, or equivalent
• Lead Auditor Certification ISO 9001 and 13485 preferred
• Experience with Mini-tab application plus
