Delaware North Gaming is hiring part-time Security Officers to join our team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. Fridays: 4:00pm-12:00am; 6:00pm-2:00am
Saturdays: 10:00am-6:00pm; 4:00pm-12:00am; 6:00pm-2:00am
Sundays: 10:00am-6:00pm
Pay$20.00 – $22.00 / hour

What will you do?- Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor.
- Conduct cash escorts as required.
- Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity.
- Maintain crowd control as required.
- Administer medical assistance to guests and employees once certified in CPR/First-Aid/AED/BBP by the employer.
- Operate a motor vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test.
- Ability to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations when handling guest issues or complaints.
- Prior law enforcement, security or military experience preferred; hospitality/customer service experience a plus.
- Pass a criminal background check and obtain a State of NH gaming license.
- Strong verbal communication, observation and report writing skills (must be able to document incidents via the use of a computer).
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to communicate through two way radio.
- Bending, stooping, lifting and carrying occasionally.
- Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night.
- Exposure to an occasionally smoky and loud environment.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
- Exposure to large groups and bright/flashing lights.
