Lead Security Officer

Securitas is seeking a Lead Security Officer to oversee daily security operations within the Safety, Security & Law Enforcement department. In this role, you will supervise officers, coordinate patrols, monitor access control and surveillance systems, and respond to incidents to protect people, property, and assets. You will enforce client and company policies, support emergency procedures, and ensure detailed reporting. As a frontline leader in our mission-driven, safety-focused culture, you will model professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service while mentoring officers and contributing to continuous improvement and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily security operations for assigned site, ensuring protection of people, property, and assets.
• Supervise, mentor, and schedule security officers; conduct briefings and post inspections.
• Monitor access control, CCTV, and alarms, responding promptly to incidents and emergencies.
• Enforce client and company security policies, post orders, and safety procedures.
• Investigate and document incidents, prepare accurate reports, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with clients, public safety agencies, and internal leadership during critical events.
• Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of security staff.
• Promote a professional, customer-service focused environment consistent with Securitas values.
