SALARY$30.70/hr. after 90 day probationary period (during probationary period, the wage rate will be 5% less) Benefits per collective bargaining agreement.
QUALIFICATIONSAt least two years experience working in a related field, with a fundamental knowledge of procedures, methods and use of equipment (hand tools and floor/bench equipment) in the areas of all School District trades classifications. A valid New Hampshire Driver's License. High School graduate degree or equivalent.
SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms all maintenance, repairs, and minor alterations of school district buildings, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Working on a variety of assignments, this individual will perform routine carpentry, masonry repair and machinery repair work. Repair doors, windows, and associated hardware. Performs key duplication and cylinder replacement.
Maintains assigned storage and work spaces in a secure, neat and orderly condition.
Maintain all assigned equipment, conducting any required preventive maintenance. Provides labor pool for movement of school district property and snow removal and completes all required administrative work in a complete and timely fashion.
