Construction Material Testing is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector II to inspect structural steel and welding to codes as required by the project, witnessing welder qualification tests and signing reports relied on by engineers and building officials.
The role requires a current AWS CWI, knowledge of AWS D1.1 and at least one of D1.5, D1.8, ASME IX, or API 1104, and the ability to defend refusals with documentation. Travel and varied schedules are expected.
