Sr Front End Developer

Working under minimal supervision of the Manager, Web Development, the Senior Front‑End Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing a modern web application using React, Type Script, and related front‑end technologies. This role independently leads complex development efforts, provides technical guidance, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality user experiences.

• Design, develop, test, and implement features and functionality for modern web applications using React, Type Script, and related front‑end technologies.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts, UX designers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Participate in application design and technical planning activities, contributing to architecture, component design, and implementation approaches.
• Translate business requirements and functional specifications into scalable, maintainable, and reusable software solutions.
• Leverage software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, including source control, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production support requests.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation details, and support documentation.
• Ensure applications adhere to established coding standards, style guides, security requirements, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by evaluating and applying modern development tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Perform all other duties or special projects as assigned.

Technical

Competencies:

• Strong experience developing modern web applications using React and Type Script.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
• Experience with Material UI (MUI) or similar component libraries.
• Experience with modern front‑end development tools and workflows, including Vite, npm, and Git.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing forms, validation, and user input workflows.
• Understanding of application state management and asynchronous data patterns.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, code reviews, testing practices, and source control.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred

Competencies:

• Experience with Tan Stack libraries, including React Query, React Table, and React Virtual.
• Experience with React Hook Form and validation libraries.
• Experience with internationalization/localization frameworks.
• Experience building data‑intensive applications, dashboards, reporting solutions, or eCommerce applications.
• Experience with advanced user experience patterns.
• Experience with modern front‑end architecture and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with server‑side technologies such as .NET and PHP to support integration with front‑end React applications.
• Experience designing and implementing user interfaces that seamlessly incorporate AI features, utilizing LLM APIs and prompt engineering to deliver intuitive, responsive, and highly personalized user experiences.
