The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations supporting telecom and cable construction projects. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting field crews by coordinating activities of inventory control and materials distribution at the warehouse.

- Supervise/take-part in the day to day warehouse activities (ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of materials coming through a warehouse).
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Responsible for accuracy of inventory management systems.
- Responsible for ensuring proper documentation for all receipts, transfers, issuances, and returns.
- Strong regulation of crews entering and exiting the warehouse. Adhere the site‑specific security procedures.
- Organizes the receipt of merchandise delivered and accurate storage of materials.
- Controls inventory levels by determining future inventory needs based on BOMs and min/max inventory level requirements.
- Coordinates weekly cycle counts, and monthly and quarterly full inventory counts. Reconciles with Company and Customer systems.
- Completes warehouse tasks by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on results.
- Involved in recruiting, training, and safety compliance of all warehouse staff.
- Drives innovation by challenging conventional approaches and generating imaginative, practical solutions.
- Traveling up to 50% of the time.
- Actively contributes to building and strengthening a high‑performance team through mentorship, coaching, and positive engagement.
- Train and enforce warehouse safety and OSHA requirements.
- Constantly setting team goals, monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching to the 4‑7 direct reports.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse/inventory management
- Knowledge of computer software applications (Windows, Microsoft Word/Excel)
- Problem‑solving and analytical ability
- Superior organizational skills /accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
Team player who works productively with wide range of people - Strong mathematical abilities
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to work under pressures of a deadline‑driven environment
- Demonstrated ability/experience in operating a forklift
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass drug, background, MVR, and DOT screenings

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or lay for extended periods of time. This would require the ability to perform repetitive actions using hands, arms and legs.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs multiple times a day.
