Armed Security Officer - Corrections

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and other authorized individuals while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns;
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorization for access, and assist with the control of keys, equipment, and restricted areas in accordance with post orders;
Prepare accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, observations, and interactions, and maintain professional communication with onsite personnel and responding law enforcement or emergency services
