Junior Associate for Business Management Firm Music/Entertainment Industry

We are a Business Management firm that manages finances for professional athletes, musicians, songwriters, producers, and other high-profile clients in the entertainment space. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Junior Associate.

• Tour Management – entering new tour dates in our system from 3rd party systems, application of tax withholding reduction, keeping the team informed of timing – budgeting & reconciliation of tours. Helping with budget preparation.
• Banking – learning our banking system and taking charge of making payments timely, getting approvals, and saving down correct corresponding support. Filing paperwork to open new accounts.
• Bookkeeping – accounts payable, accounts receivable, transfers, reconciling credit cards and journal entries.
• Administrative tasks – answering phones, emails, making copies and scanning documents in proper client folders.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and their teams.
• Many other special projects as needed.

• Passion for sports, music and the entertainment industry is a must.
• Being a self-starter and being able to work independently.
• Positive attitude, a self-motivator with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, & Outlook.
• Xero, Quick Books, or another accounting software knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Experience in an office environment is required. Background in Accounting and/or Entertainment/Music industry preferred.
• The ideal candidate is thorough and direct with strong critical thinking skills and someone who can prioritize effectively.

Salary: $45-52k, commensurate with experience. Bonus eligible.
