Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Office in Nashville, TN
. This role is critical to the financial operations of the organization and involves a strong background in property and lease management and full-cycle accounting.
As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will work closely with executive leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and provide strategic financial insights. This onsite position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic environment, allowing for meaningful collaboration with our team.
Monday to Friday
** Onsite Job**
- Full-Cycle Accounting
- Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle including journal entries, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with precision and timeliness.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Analysis
- Perform detailed reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across all accounts.
- Expense Management
- Monitor and analyze operating expenses.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support budget adherence.
- Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulations.
- Support audit processes and implement internal controls.
- Excel Mastery
- Build and maintain complex financial models and reports.
- Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA) to streamline processes.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and lease accounting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
