Project Accountant

iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Accounting team in Nashville, TN or Charlotte, NC. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry.

We are currently looking for a Project Accountant to join our Accounting team located at our office in either Charlotte, NC or Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in billing and job management, take a hands‑on approach to their work, and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and relationship‑building skills. This role thrives in a collaborative environment and values a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

• Providing project accounting support for assigned projects, including job setup, billing, and financial analysis.
• Reviewing contracts, Certificates of Insurance, and compliance requirements for accuracy and completeness.
• Preparing and submitting customer billings and project-related reporting, including certified payroll.
• Supporting accounts receivable and collections efforts to promote timely cash flow.
• Processing and coding subcontractor, vendor, and equipment invoices in Vista, resolving issues as needed.
• Monitoring project costs, budgets, and projections to ensure accurate cost and revenue recognition.
• Following purchasing procedures and supporting vendor coordination for assigned projects.
• Demonstrating strong customer service and collaboration while supporting team members as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar role.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional, collaborative approach.
• High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to make sound decisions and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Positive, ownership‑driven mindset with a willingness to identify and improve processes.
• Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint is a plus.
• Experience in the construction industry and/or working with unions is a plus.

• Salary Range: $50,000-$70,000
