Senior Accountant – Hybrid After Training – Salary up to $110,000 – Profit Sharing – Permanent Direct Hire
My client, a growing distribution company in West Nashville for 100 years, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. This company has many long-tenured employees and invests heavily in its people, processes, and long-term growth. This role is hybrid after training. Salary goes up to $110,000 plus profit sharing. Overview Of The Senior Accountant- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Perform variance analysis and month-end close duties.
- Perform bank account reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Assist with fixed asset accounting.
- Prepare and update quarterly reports
- Perform pivot tables and VLOOKUPs in Excel
- Prepare schedules and participate in the annual audit.
- Assist with streamlining processes.
- Assist with projects.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivots)
- Demonstrated process improvements
- A kind, compassionate team player who is comfortable working independently in a quiet office
- Able to be on-site during onboarding in West Nashville, then hybrid
- Clear, concise communicator who asks questions and takes initiative
