Staff Accountant

A large, privately held organization in the Nashville area is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, general ledger activities, and month-end close. • Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Perform account reconciliations and general ledger reviews
• Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Conduct variance analysis and identify financial trends
• Prepare ad-hoc reports to support account analysis and management requests
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Evaluate accounting processes and recommend efficiency improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
