Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Account Manager to join a well-established, relationship-driven financial services firm. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who enjoys serving as a trusted point of contact, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and takes pride in delivering white-glove service to sophisticated clients. This position follows a hybrid schedule, with additional in-office time expected during the first 90 days for onboarding and training.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communication, requests, and special projects.
• Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements, including general ledger coding and account upkeep.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including deposits, bill payments, and reconciliations.
• Record and track investments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Oversee payroll processing, 1099 reporting, business registrations/renewals, and sales/use tax filings.
• Support insurance and benefits administration, including pension plans and related documentation.
• Maintain organized digital records and supervise assistant(s), providing guidance and oversight.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support clients and internal operations.

• 10+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience within a business management or similar client-service environment.
• Strong track record of professionalism, integrity, and high-touch client service.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Datafaction/DF Imaging and Agil Link required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management tools.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor junior team members.
