Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

A growing, globally operating organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with sound judgment and a process improvement mindset.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including capital project tracking, asset capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliation of construction in progress.
• Review capital expenditures against approved budgets and analyze variances.
• Oversee accounting for intangible assets and goodwill, including amortization and related reconciliations.
• Assist with periodic impairment assessments through financial analysis and coordination with third party advisors as needed.
• Administer sales tax exemption documentation and act as liaison with external tax service providers.
• Support sales tax audits and respond to information requests.
• Handle intercompany accounting activities, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Assist with financial reporting requirements related to lending agreements, including covenant calculations and supporting schedules.
• Support month end and year end close processes, including preparation and review of financial reports.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and cross functional projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
• Two or more years of accounting experience; public accounting background helpful but not required.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with an ERP system and strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
• Comfortable operating in environments where processes may still be developing.
