Accounting Specialist Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare and distribute invoices and monitor payment activity
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and organized digital documentation
• Support daily accounting operations and bookkeeping functions
• Assist with improving accounting workflows and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure timely financial processing
• Maintain electronic files within a paperless accounting environment
• Assist with monthly close, preparing journal entries as needed
• Provide general accounting support as business needs evolve

• 3+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to AP and AR
• Experience working within accounting software systems
• Experience working in a professional services environment (legal industry exposure is helpful but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Mac-based systems or willingness to learn
