Accounting Manager

Our client is a rapidly scaling healthcare company headquartered Nashville. As they expand into new markets, they are adding an Accounting Manager to anchor their growing finance team. This is a high-impact, visible role that will own the month-end close, build out scalable accounting processes, and partner directly with senior operational leadership. Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and speed
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll accounting, and general ledger integrity
• Manage and mentor a team of 2–4 staff and senior accountants
• Own revenue recognition and healthcare-specific billing reconciliations
• Coordinate external audits and tax preparation with outside advisors
• Design and enforce internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with FP&A to support budgeting and financial forecasting
• Evaluate and implement accounting system improvements

What our client is looking for

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
• Healthcare industry experience a significant plus
• Proficiency in Net Suite, Quick Books, or comparable ERP systems
• Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with revenue cycle or medical billing accounting preferred
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
