Overview

Cherry Bekaert is a leading accounting and consulting firm offering advisory, assurance, and tax services. As an Audit Staff you will perform audits of financial statements, develop technical accounting skills, and support clients across various industries.

• Work on a wide variety of audit engagements under the supervision of accounting professionals
• Engage and serve clients from various industries
• Communicate with project in-charges and clients
• Develop technical accounting skills while performing audits of financial statements
• Prepare audit checklists and adjust journal entries
• Gain business writing experience while preparing financial statements alongside clients
• Prepare and organize work papers for client files
• Perform other essential duties as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Master's preferred)
• CPA certified or eligible to obtain CPA license
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred (not required)
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same‑day travel and occasional out‑of‑town travel
• Ability to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime required during certain business cycles

Salary range: $66,000 – $76,000.
