Job Title: Accounting Coordinator

Responsibilities- Process all accounts payable information for the Ice Rinks operated by the Nashville Predators and related entities.
- Review invoices and expense reports for proper documentation, coding accuracy, and approvals.
- Enter invoices and expense reports into Intacct, Papersave, and spreadsheets.
- Print and distribute checks.
- Manage the outstanding check register using the online banking portal.
- Maintain the Purchase Order system.
- Monitor invoices for proper payment of use tax.
- Assist with customer invoicing.
- Serve as the point of contact for invoicing questions.
- Process customer refunds.
- Assist with interdepartmental transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain the file of Form W-9 and complete third‑party requests for W-9s.
- Monitor and recommend process improvements.
- Provide superior customer service, exceeding internal and external expectations through communication, urgency, and proactive solutions.
- Communicate with supervisors, managing workload and anticipated timelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance and other management.
- Degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Detail oriented and team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of financial management and accounting software required; familiarity with Intacct is a plus.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours; overtime may be required.
- Must be able to work at times with limited guidance.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- High finger dexterity required for data entry (approximately 75% of the time).
- Must remain in a stationary position for extended periods, with occasional walking, standing, bending, and light carrying.
- As a condition of employment, qualified applicants will undergo a background check including criminal history, driving history, employment verification, and character references.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, a suitable driving history, and be insurable by the Organization’s insurance carrier.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Finger dexterity to perform accounting duties.
- Able to occasionally lift and move boxes of office equipment and accounting files up to 20 lbs.
- General office equipment (PC, copier, scanner, calculator, time clock).
