The Accounting Manager will assist the Chief Financial Officer in the preparation of monthly financial reports, annual audits, annual budgets, and other accounting and finance related projects and reports. Working with the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for developing an Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Fixed assets
- Bank account reconciliations
- Other balance sheet account reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end general ledger closings
- Audit and process invoices
- Prepare weekly check runs
- Address and respond to vendor inquiries
- Assist with audit support as necessary
8:30a-5:00p
Qualifications:Degree in accounting or a combination of relevant education and accounting experience required. CPA certification is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and computerized accounting systems is required. Although non-profit and/or healthcare experience is not required, it would be a plus.
