Accountant (Hospitality Task Force)

About the Opportunity – Accountant
We are partnering with a prestigious luxury hospitality client to identify a skilled Accountant to join their on-site task force team in Nashville. This is a full-time, interim opportunity ideal for accounting professionals with experience in luxury or boutique hotel environments who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and personable finance team supporting day-to-day operations and month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities – Accountant

  • Prepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation
  • Manage credit card reconciliations, cash handling, deposits, and internal controls
  • Oversee cashiering functions and conduct periodic audits
  • Assist with accounts payable, expense review, and weekly disbursements
  • Contribute to group billing processes, inventory reviews, and payroll/labor analysis
  • Partner with leadership to support financial performance reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audits, and internal policies

Qualifications – Accountant

  • 3+ years of accounting experience within luxury, boutique, or full-service hotel environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of hotel accounting operations (revenue, AP, payroll, financial reporting)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability
