Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Our client, a growing and highly respected organization in the Nashville area, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting business operations through accurate financial analysis and reporting.

This role is fully onsite in Nashville, TN.

Salary up to $90,000 based on experience
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Support annual audits and coordinate requests from external auditors
• Maintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• CPA designation or CPA candidate
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Experience in a multi-entity or high-growth environment
