LHH is partnered with a privately held industrial machinery company to identify an Accounting Manager. This role offers a clear path to a future Controller position, exposure to strong leadership, and a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close to support accurate financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and cash application
- Support compliance and reporting requirements, including audits, sales tax filings, and 1099 processing
- Review financial activity and spending trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency
- Enhance internal controls and contribute to process improvements, including involvement in ERP system initiatives
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve billing and purchasing discrepancies while supporting system and process training
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
