Senior Accountant | Strong

LHH is partnered with a privately held company on a newly created Senior Accountant search resulting from a recent acquisition!

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, accruals, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Oversee cash management, forecasting, banking relationships, wire transfers, and treasury operations while providing financial reporting and analysis to leadership.
• Manage the full revenue and expenditure cycle, including invoicing, collections, accounts payable, vendor payments, customer account reconciliations, and credit card accounting.
• Direct inventory accounting and reporting activities, including cycle counts, reconciliations, adjustments, cost analysis, and margin reporting.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, sales tax, audit, and other regulatory requirements while serving as a liaison with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, strengthen accounting workflows and controls, and support technology enhancements, automation projects, and system implementations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of external audit or accounting experience.
• Inventory management or cost accounting exposure is required. You do not need to be an expert in this area, but you must have worked for a company that maintains inventory.
