About the Role:
The Accounting Generalist at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville plays a vital role in supporting the hotel’s financial operations through accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. This position contributes to maintaining strong financial controls, timely reporting, and compliance with Four Seasons standards and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Manage and process the full‑cycle Accounts Payable function, including purchase order approvals, invoice coding, and payment processing.
- Ensure accurate classification of all revenue, including miscellaneous and accounts‑payable‑related revenue.
- Support the month‑end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, financial statements, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in compliance with GAAP.
- Collect and audit supporting documentation from all hotel revenue centers to ensure compliance with Four Seasons internal controls and local policies.
- Serve as a liaison between the hotel and Payroll team, supporting income audit, accounts payable, and reconciliation processes.
- Assist with maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Previous accounting experience and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Prior hotel accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with OPERA or a comparable property management system and cashiering functions preferred.

Full‑time position. Schedule based on business needs, primarily weekday business hours with flexibility during month‑end close.
