Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in ASC 606 revenue recognition to support key accounting operations, financial reporting, and month‑end close activities. This role will be responsible for revenue accounting, general ledger management, financial statement preparation, compliance support, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a solid technical accounting foundation, strong analytical skills, and experience working in a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the monthly ASC 606 revenue recognition process, including journal entries, contract review, revenue validation, and deferred revenue reconciliations.
- Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations and month‑end close activities.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and operational reports.
- Calculate and process monthly sales commissions.
- Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and process documentation.
- Support annual audits, tax preparation activities, and financial compliance requirements.
- Assist with sales tax filings and new tax account registrations.
- Partner with HR on payroll tax compliance and registration activities.
- Collaborate with accounting leadership on process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Demonstrated experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition is required.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Net Suite is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled business tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Proven track record of improving accounting processes and implementing efficiencies.
