Senior Accountant Role Type

• Full-time

• The Senior Accountant (SA) will handle various financial reporting and accounting matters for Overhead Reporting. The SA will also assist with finance projects related to technical accounting, process improvements and system implementations.
• The position reports to the Senior Manager, Overhead Reporting, and there will be significant interaction with budget coordinators throughout the organization.

• Qualifications/Skills
  
  Basic qualifications:
• 4-5 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Strong (and current) technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Minimum of four years of accounting experience
• Intermediate-Advanced skills in Excel
• Proficiency in MS Word Desired skills:
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Detailed-oriented
• Excellent written & oral communication and inter-personal skills
• Understanding this position works closely with employees in Los Angeles and be willing to work similar hours when necessary and overtime to meet deadlines including at month and quarter ends
• Ability to communicate with all levels of company personnel
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines
• Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues, perform research and propose resolutions
• Ability to work independently
• Previous experience in the Entertainment Industry
• Previous experience with Hyperion (Essbase/Smartview) and SAP desired
