What You Will Do:

Seeking an Accountant to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of multiple commercial real estate brokerage, development, and construction firms. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, enjoys working with project managers, and takes pride in producing accurate and timely financial information.

Project & Job Cost Accounting
  • Track project costs including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses
  • Prepare and maintain job cost reports and reconciliations
  • Assist project managers with budget-to-actual analysis and variance explanations
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project financial performance
Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Process vendor invoices and subcontractor payments
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Support billing and collection efforts for projects
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience:
  • 1+ years of accounting experience in construction, real estate development, or property management
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of construction or real estate accounting concepts
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
