Assistant Controller | High-Impact Healthcare Opportunity

LHH is partnered with a growing mid-sized healthcare company on an Assistant Controller search! This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team, make a significant impact, and gain strong visibility with executive leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting team and oversee a seven-day month-end close process
• Support the AP team as needed
• Assist with the annual audit
• Partner with Treasury to support cash management activities and liquidity planning
• Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including lease accounting and revenue recognition
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Drive process improvement initiatives across the accounting function
• Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required;
  Master's in Accounting preferred
• 7+ years of accounting experience required
• Multi-location healthcare experience required
• CPA or sitting preferred but not required
