Senior Tax Accountant | Nashville, TN

I'm partnering with a highly respected organization in Nashville to identify a Senior Tax Accountant
to join its corporate tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition from public accounting into an in-house role with broad exposure to tax provision, compliance, planning, and strategic projects.

• Prepare and support quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
• Prepare and review federal income tax returns and related work papers.
• Assist with tax reporting, estimated tax payments, and cash forecasting.
• Research federal tax issues and provide recommendations on technical matters.
• Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
• Support tax planning initiatives, process improvements, and special projects.
• Collaborate with external advisors and auditors throughout the compliance and reporting process.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (or actively pursuing) strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive tax experience.
• Public accounting experience (Big 4, national, or regional firm) preferred.
• Experience with ASC 740 and federal corporate tax compliance.
• Strong analytical, research, and Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
