Account Manager — Client Business Management
Position SummaryThe Account Manager is the primary day-to-day financial point of contact for a roster of entertainment clients, owning bill pay, reconciliations, reporting, and cash flow oversight with accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping (AP, AR, reconciliations) for assigned clients
- Process bill pay and maintain accurate general ledgers in Quick Books
- Track income from royalties, appearance fees, endorsements, touring, and residuals
- Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget comparisons
- Organize audit-ready records to support tax preparation
- Serve as liaison between clients, their representatives, and vendors
- Maintain client files, contracts, and recurring obligations
- Support client onboarding and special projects (real estate closings, entity restructuring)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience; entertainment industry experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Quick Books and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced client accounts
- Excellent communication skills and absolute discretion with confidential information
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends around client needs
